Ruth Barnard is the manager and owner of Purple Chameleon Communications. She moved from the UK to Melbourne, Australia with her husband in January 1999.

Ruth worked for several years in the corporate services industry in the UK and has been involved in direct marketing, advertising and event management at high profile organisations including Yellow Pages and Jane's Information Group.

Her experience in Australia continued in the publishing industry where she worked as a Marketing Services Manager for DA Information Services.  After raising a family, Ruth decided to venture out on her own and has been contracting her marketing communication services to a number of organisations ever since. Ruth completed a degree of Master of Arts in Professional Communication from Deakin University in October 2007.

Her personal statement is "to provide marketing communications to small to medium sized businesses with whom she can share passion and belief in order to achieve goals and objectives".
